A bequest in your Will

A gift in your will stands as a poignant and lasting reminder of the things that are most important to you. This is a sound option if you want to help guarantee the future of New Zealand’s national choirs beyond your lifetime, while enabling you to maintain access to your assets while you’re still alive.

Suggested Will clause

I leave the sum of $__ (or __% of my estate, or __ % of the residue of my estate, or description of property or assets) to the Choirs Aotearoa New Zealand Foundation Trust, Level 4, 35 Victoria St, Wellington 6011, registered charity CC574014.

If you prefer to give a bequest for a specific purpose, please email us at foundation@choirsnz.co.nz and we’ll contact you to discuss ways your bequest could help the choirs.

Family trusts
If your assets are held in a family trust, you can write a simple Memorandum of Wishes to the trustees stating that on your death you wish to make a gift to the Choirs Aotearoa New Zealand Foundation. Your Memorandum can describe the gift in a similar way to the words used above in a will.
